Nicolas Noyer

Nicolas is a quantity surveyor with over 20 years’ experience representing clients and contractors in various roles.

He is well versed in running complex multi-disciplinary construction projects in the rail, infrastructure, civil and oil and gas sectors. Nicolas is experienced in drafting and negotiating contractual arrangements, and seeing large projects through from inception to final account completion. He has experience of many standard forms including FIDIC, IChemE and NEC3.

Nicolas has worked on construction disputes for over 10 years. He was appointed as a quantum expert in an ICC Arbitration relating to the construction of a mosque in Algeria, and another dispute regarding the design and construction of an underground storage facility in France. Nicolas frequently supports Fairway’s experts in the analysis and preparation of reports. His experience and the projects that Nicolas has assisted with include: the design and build of a nuclear power station in Finland; an EPC large oil and gas plant located in the Middle East; an EPC oil refinery in Colombia; the design and build of a large power substation for London Underground; and an airport’s luggage handling system. Nicolas has also helped clients prepare and defend claims and has participated in the preparation and defence of a number of adjudications. He is fluent in both French and English.
