Richard Walmsley

Richard Walmsley is a chartered quantity surveyor, a qualified arbitrator and adjudicator and is included on the adjudication panel and expert witness registration scheme of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is a member of the Expert Witness Institute and an accredited adjudicator with the Technology and Construction Solicitors Association.

Richard is periodically appointed by the RICS or parties to a dispute for the purposes of expert determination and is routinely appointed as an independent expert on aspects of quantum and negligence matters. He is also appointed as a single joint expert. Richard has given evidence in the Technology and Construction Court, to arbitral tribunals and to a planning enquiry and has been regularly nominated for over 10 years as an adjudicator in disputes involving quantum, non-payment and professional fees.
