He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Nicolas has a very good knowledge and understanding of national and international construction disputes. He has successfully prepared and defended claims for our clients and he has participated in a number of adjudication proceedings in the UK, many involving disputes under the NEC form of contract.

Nicolas has extensive experience of major project disputes having completed a number of commissions relating to construction and engineering projects that include: nuclear, automation, power distribution, stadium construction, general building, and mechanical & electrical works.  Nicolas has also taken part in several international ICC arbitration proceedings on major engineering projects and he has most recently been appointed as the quantum expert on a major dispute on a building project in North Africa.

Prior to focusing on disputes Nicolas spent in excess of ten years working in the construction industry, six years of which were spent in a senior commercial management position for a contractor specialising in power and overhead line equipment on rail projects.

Congratulations to Nicolas for his promotion, which is well deserved!
